Yesterday Bryan told me the college he works at gave him more classes to teach which is good but ill miss seeing him all the time during the week. He also said that he's booked every Friday- Sunday in December, which is also good... but it means Ill be going to all the Christmas parties and events alone. ;/ It kind of put me in a funk, because even though my days are balanced with both work and play, its been hard to develop any friendships because our schedule is opposite of everyone else's.
I've also been debating going back to school to get my bachelors. I love being a Cosmetologist for now (cant beat making 100 bucks an hour by not even having to leave your house Haha) and although my schedule is full with cooking, cleaning a five bedroom house, doing hair and taking care of a very rambunctious one year old... I need to be mentally stimulated... I need something to work toward... My mind is bored!! I'm thankful my husband understands, and hopefully we are able to schedule it so that one of us is able to give Marley our undivided attention at all times.
On a side note, Bryan and I went to a late night date last night. We walked around Barnes and Noble and then went to see the movie "In Time", which is a movie about people who live off of time instead of money. Coffee is worth 5 minutes etc. It really made us think about the importance of our own time and the ways that we spend it. This picture below is the mall all decked out for Christmas, complete with christmas carols! Im getting excited!! Once the movie was over it was around midnight and we decided to go for a run around our neighborhood... it felt good! was a fun night until we drove to Fallbrook to pick up Marley, put her in the car and drove to the freeway only to realize that Bryans car was breaking down. So we barely made it back to my parents house, stayed the night and got the car to the shop in the morning. SOOO im currently stranded in work out clothes at my parents house all day. Whoo!
This is the owl that Marley painted the other day at Painted Earth, it turned out adorable! I painted the little chest feathers and the dots on the eyes, but Im pretty impressed!
